I am a life long
"I am a life long hiker and adventurer. I wanted a bag to carry essentials to bridge the gap between the field and urban areas. The hip pack does exactly that. I paired it with an Earthwell 16oz bottle adding a lanyard which clips into the carrying handle using a carabiner. I also carry my 16 oz Grayl filter. When hiking I can carry a small knife horizontally or a sheath knife on the molly attachment. The sheath knife fits perfectly next to the multi tool pouch. Outstanding piece of kit! Very versatile."

Excellent
"Excellent additional waste pack that I use to carry extra gear for longer outings. Very sturdy. You can carry a lot more than you think in it. Bottle lock is a great feature."

I finally decided to purchase
"I finally decided to purchase a bottlelock hip pack (wasn’t thrilled by the colors) to serve as my mini survival pouch. Grayl’s Black Friday sale meant I was out of excuses to seal the deal. What arrived was a perfectly stitched, well thought out, multi compartmentalized piece better than I could have imagined. I wanted a mini bag but ended up attaching a similarly sized pouch to the hip pack (thanks to its lower molle strip). As some have suggested I will add an elastic strap to secure the side bottle drop, but everything else is perfect. The quality of the sewing, the rain sealed zippers and interior compartments account for the original price and remind me of what a thoroughbred piece of equipment I now own. Thank you Grayl."

Very nice bag, not too
"Very nice bag, not too bulky, seems just right. Everything can be improved upon, so my only personal suggestion would be having a thinner buckle like the cobra buckle and maybe seatbelt like materials for the waist strap, it would feel a little better and be better than the cotton. But the bag itself is super nice and I look forward to putting this to use out on the trail. I would recommend this product"

An EDC best in class.
"In the 4. 5L sweet spot for EDC sling/hip bag hybrids … Grayl’s Bottle Lock is a surprisingly best yet? Best ever ? Known (to me) exclusively for their water filter bottle system - the Bottlelock popped up in my feed & honestly … I have too many 4. 5L slings already including ones I like from Chrome, Topo, BD. But the Bottlelock (so named for it’s robust velcro/ webbing attachment for carrying their filter bottles outside the bag) brings many unique features including extra expansion, many zip & Velcro tabbed compartments, wide web belt, a collapsing extra bottle holder & comes in several camo options. The Bottlelock feature is perfect for a shell or Polartec mid layer, tripod or poster tube - so whether you’re a photographer, recording engineer (like me), explorer or urban traveler … this bag is perfect & at a competitive price point. Highly recommended."

None
"To much money and the quality of the material looks cheap"

Great product
"A couple things that I’ve found out that could use some improvements. Even though I understand that this hip pack is made to be resistant to harsh weather but I’m sure we can figure out a way to make it so that a customer can zip it up with just one hand without much hustle. Second the bottle holder could use a second strap because my bottle keeps falling. Beside those things I’m satisfied with my purchase."
