Ultrapress TI

"I've had a Grayl Geopress for a 4 years now and I love it. I purchased the Pathfinder nesting cup last year and took it hunting. It is a great combination. I wanted something a little bit lighter and a little more compact for the hunting pack and overnight backpack trips. I waffled quite a bit between a titanium ultra press and a titanium Geopress. In the end, I'm glad I did the ultra press just because there is no reason not to take it everywhere! I look at it it's just like a concealed carry handgun. You can always go larger and have more capacity, but the likelihood you're gonna leave it behind because it's too heavy and bulky, is a factor. The titanium ultra press is the best of everything. Disappears in any pack and will purify , filter and boil water."

Great water bottle

"Great water bottle for everyday and survival easy to clean and take care of. The fact that it's titanium is what sold it for me able to have water purification and able to it to boil the water is a huge plus. I would recommend this to everyone looks for a great titanium water bottle"

Peace of mind while flying

"I bought this as a gift for my daughter who is in helicopter pilot school in the PNW. Because it titanium, it is light enough that she can keep it with her while flying where weight is a premium. So wherever she lands intentionally or not so intentionally, she will have the ability to have clean drinking water."

Easy to use and I didn't get sick

"I bought the smaller UltraPress Ti figuring it is lighter and will fit in any bottle holder/drink holder. I have been using it for everyday use, and find it easy to use and comfortable to drink out of. When I get filtered water I can pour it directly in the top without filtering, and for regular tap water I filter out some of the chlorine and contaminants with the Grayl filter. I also took the Grayl UltraPress Ti bottle on a 4 day backpacking trip. I used it to filter mountain stream water for drinking and cooking. Being a bit paranoid, I combined the Grayl followed with a homemade Brita Elite filter to remove chemical contaminants. I found that the first day the Grayl removed a slight smell from the water, but the water still had a trace of an unpleasant taste (sulfur?) to it after filtering, even after the Grayl followed by gravity filtering through the Brita Elite. Letting the water sit with some activated charcoal in it for a while seemed to remove the remaining taste. Anyway, I survived without getting sick, so I guess the slight taste left on the first day wasn't noticeably harmful. I found the filter pretty easy to use. I filtered about a liter at a time, first through the Grayl Ultra, then dripping through the Brita Ultra filter into a bottle with a stick of activated charcoal (Kishu Charcoal) where it soaked with charcoal until needed. Then poured back in the Grayl, which I used as my drinking water bottle since I like the lid on the Grayl for drinking out of. I gave 4 stars because it did need that extra charcoal to improve the taste, although so did the Brita filter. I didn't taste the water unfiltered to see how it tasted before the Grayl, but the Grayl did seem to remove a slight odor from the water."

Lose Me, Find Me

"I'm begging you to design a lid that attaches to the UltraPress. I spoke to the design engineer and he said "we'll never do that again" in reference to the detached lid. You could/should engineer a new top with attached lid. I'd buy it today."

Was looking for a water

"Was looking for a water bottle to cover my everyday water intake but also needed it to fit a cup holder. Additionally, I was hoping to find something I could also use on my hiking and backpacking trips. During my research I came across this water bottle and felt it would be perfect and check all the boxes, then realized it had a built-in water filter for hiking/backpacking and knew I needed to give it a shot. Since receiving it, I've been even more impressed with the look, feel, and functionality. Incredible product, and stoked it's a local business to support as well!"
