"I don't look for ways and places to spend the kind of time and energy on a water bottle like the one y'all have but I'd say everything your doing is on point the reason and design of it the advertisement the price the support its all a factor in having a good product us normys would want to invest in so keep up the good work"

My go-to setup

"I love my Grayls. I use the GeoPress all the time and purchased the UltraPress for travel as it fits by bag perfect. I also gave one to my kids for hiking. Highly recommend, it is such a great product."

— Robert L. (5/5)

I love this filter. Fits

"I love this filter. Fits into my style of adventuring perfectly. You can take this anywhere, anytime. When I’m out filming it’s the first thing into the pack. Going on 5 years, no issues. Thanks Grayl!"

Staying healthy in rural Tanzania

"I’m beyond happy with this filter! I used it while traveling through rural Tanzania, Africa, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing that the water I was drinking had been thoroughly filtered and was free of all the bad stuff."

These filters do the job!

"With careful prefiltering I get more than the 300 they say to expect. Sometimes I take the time to use a milbank bag, but I usually just have a cotton bandana held over the outer cup with a rubber band. The more you keep out, the longer the cartridge will last."

— Mark B. (5/5)

Grayl great. Cartridge iffy

"Love the Grayl. Worked initially like a charm but after 20-30 presses of “clear” water it became very difficult to press. I contacted grayl and they sent me two replacement cartridges, which was great. Love the product concept but wish the filter lasted longer."

— Jim J. (4/5)

Awesome filter

"Best idea ever for a simple, compact water filter that works in any conditions."

— Michael B. (5/5)

Quality Product

"Got the replacement filter for two older Grayl water purifier bottle. I ordered the the one way rubber insert on both. I like the option of being able to mix electrolytes:) This works great because it also allows easy filtration for cooking needs too!"

— Casey O. (5/5)

Replacement filter with valve.

"The replacement filter with valve that I recently received is not as efficient as the original products purchased. The valve does not work effectively, resulting in a small leak back into the water reservoir. I am unsure why, but it is inferior to the original product. I would like to include an observation that the customer service aspect of dealing with the replacement of a valve was not of a standard I thought the company would provide; it was distant, and a lack of communication, as well as information, was needed."

Q&A

Hello, I am looking to replace the cartridge in my ultrapress, about to purchase one here but just wondering is it as simple as unclipping and unscrewing the existing one, and then attaching a new, or do I need to retain any parts from the old cartridge? Thanks!: It's as simple as unlocking and removing the existing cartridge and then screwing on a new cartridge and clicking into the lock position.
I found my Ultrapress in the cupboard and it had water in it. The water may be years old. Is my filter cartridge still good? I cleaned everything off but didn’t want to mess with the cartridge.: Since your filters have been improperly stored for a significant amount of time, they will 100% need to be replaced.
Why are you charging extra for the one way valve when you previously said it would be included with a cartridge as a standard feature ?: Every Grayl purifier bottle purchased from grayl.com comes with the one way valve as a standard feature. However, there are a lot of Grayl bottles out in the wild that do not yet have this feature, that is why we offer the valve as a standalone item, so other users can upgrade their existing bottles.
Will pre-filtering water with hollow membrane filter positively affect this cartridge rated lifespan and if so, than how many additional cycles could be expected?: Pre-filtering is a great way to preserve the lifespan of a Grayl purifier cartridge, but the maximum lifespan cannot be extended.
Why can the replacement filter not come as just a "filter" which can be fitted into the plastic housing? It's such a waste of plastic everytime you need a new filter. I want a filter bottle to save plastic waste, not make more.: Our current technology simply cannot be designed to work that way while still proving effective against protection of ALL waterborne pathogens (bacteria, protozoa, virus).
