Wild Traverse: South Africa

The GeoPress™ water purifier has been a game-changer for me. For someone who travels down waterways around the world, I'm constantly exposed to filthy water. The Orange River was no different. I was not only impressed with how well the bottle purified the water but also the ease and speed of doing it. No pumps, batteries, or chemicals. It's quick and effortless plus the bottle looks great!

    Good day,

I recently deployed to Eastern Europe for one year. Prior to my deployment I researched among other things, the water quality in the areas I will be working in. In short, I learnt that one should abstain from drinking the tap water and some of the local bottled water companies spec’s don’t meet all government recommendations in regards to chemicals and purity. I researched the best way to deal with this issue during my deployment and came to the conclusion that the Grayl GeoPress was the way to go. I have been overseas now for two months and I am happy to report that the GeoPress has been used multiple times a day, everyday, for the past two months and there have been no negative issues identified to date. I am still using the original filter. It has been a great peace of mind knowing I am drinking clean healthy water that tastes great. The bottle itself is holding up very well. The quality of materials used in the build of this bottle is solid. I have no doubt that it will last my entire deployment with the periodical change of filters. Keep up the good work Grayl!!
